Chemical Substance Management

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

In addition to responding appropriately to revisions in domestic regulations, Japan Polypropylene Corporation has been working to improve its compliance with international chemical substance regulations. In order to maintain and improve the level of compliance, we have recently established and begun operating a system to centrally manage legal compliance information for our products. By utilizing this system, we will continue to strive to provide customers with more prompt and accurate information on chemical substances.

Management of Chemical Substances Contained in Products

Japan Polypropylene Corporation is committed to further improving product safety and security by accurately grasping the needs of our customers for management of chemical substances contained in products, which are increasing due to the global expansion of product environmental regulations, and by developing a system to do so. We also communicate information on chemical substance content to our supply chain based on the common scheme "chemSHERPA".

Provides information on product safety

In order to provide SDSs (Safety Data Sheets) and other information promptly, Japan Polypropylene Corporation operates eFACE (efficient application for customer), an interactive information exchange system using the Internet. In addition, we strive to provide product safety and security by appropriately responding to customer inquiries regarding other product safety issues.
